ABOUT:
Cervejaria Whitehead was born in Porto Alegre and is now located in Eldorado do Sul - Brazil. The production of craft beer originated from a hobby that for 6 years constantly sought to obtain high quality beers with outstanding flavours, far beyond those offered in commercial beers. After a few years producing craft beers with flavours similar to some famous brands, the company started developing its own recipes, which gave us some awards in international competitions and the objective of establishing a high standard commercial production of these beers.
The name Whitehead comes from the "head" of the beer (the layer of foam in the glass), - but it also recalls the experience of grey-haired brewmasters.
In 2010, as a final project for my university degree, I proposed a comprehensive redesign of the Whitehead brand's visual identity and packaging. After over a decade of professional experience I have chosen to revisit and recreate this project in 2023.
